Alzirex-M Tablet is a medication utilized for the treatment of allergic symptoms, including runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, itching, swelling, watery eyes, and congestion or stuffiness. Additionally, it has anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce inflammation in the airways, facilitating easier breathing.

The tablet is a combination medication that includes two active ingredients: Levocetirizine and Montelukast. This combination is effective in relieving symptoms such as sneezing and runny nose caused by allergies. Levocetirizine, an antiallergic, functions by inhibiting the action of histamine, a chemical messenger responsible for runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Montelukast, a leukotriene antagonist, works by blocking another chemical messenger, leukotriene, which reduces inflammation (swelling) in the airways and nose, leading to an improvement in symptoms.
